Hi all, just a quick note to advise that for those that are interested I have done a blog entry on how to build a relatively inexpensive, truly portable studio. The details are here:

There's plenty of pictures on how I do it all and some basic examples of results. It works really well for me, and if you are interested in getting professional results away from your big studio strobes, take a look.
