Looking at the picture, I'm not sure what the subject it. My eyes keep getting drawn to the two people on the bottom right (probably the red in a mostly green picture). So then the tree trunk isn't adding much to the composition.

I thought adding them in the picture will give a sense of proportion (size of the tree trunk):o

Though it has lovely colors, I'm also not sure what the subject is. I wondered if you were trying to display a large tree, perhaps show the nice greenery and vines on it? I understand why you included the two people, but I agree that they are a distraction.

Honestly, I don't like the composition much, but maybe it's just the crop... to me, the people seemed to be "floating" a bit. Maybe if you added more of the ground (?)

If you cropped closer to the tree I think you'd have something there. Great greens and browns!

I too have trouble identifying the subject of the photo. One problem for me is the lack of a top or bottom. The way it's cropped, even the people are cut off at the knees. This may be a case of the intended subject (the tree) being just to big for the camera/lens/perspective as shot. It's as if you were showing us a building by taking a shot of the middle 2 3/4 stories. It's lacking in context.
