does anyone know of a good tutorial teaching how to smudge paint in photoshop, ive seen a couple but i dont understand them i think i need the beginners tutorial that will give tips on how to do it not just the tools you use. i know its something that takes time and practice, i just need help finding out where to start. i basically want to learn how to make my portraits into oil paintings.

thanks you guys, funny thing is i was gonna buy the dvd off the Vixtran thread but after reading thru it i desided not to cause even tho there was a lot of good reviews, after reading Rods view point im thinking it might not be worth the money if its based off of methods that i can find for free online. Vixtrans work is awsome dont get me wrong its just im not rich so if i spend money on something like that i would be sick with myself if it wasnt worth it. ill do some more research.
