I've been lurking a lot in here, gathering information and I've learnt a lot. I've yet to shoot a formal wedding but I've been busy getting books, reading tips here, doing courses on flash photography, portraits and wedding shooting before practising a lot on friends to hone my skills before I take the plunge.

As I've learnt so much I wanted to add something a friend of mine gave me. It's an old series of notes from a course he did many years ago from a company who are no longer in operation. There are no copyrights or anything on the sheets so I've scanned them and uploaded them here:

Click the link above and choose the free option. There is no need to join or anything.

Please help yourself if you think it might be of use. It covers basic poses and has some sketches together with how to build off them. Plus some hints on what to take etc with you and some sample shot lists.

Scott

I had a quick look and it seems to cover all the basics.

It looks like it was typed on a typewriter with hand drawn illustrations, photocopied, scanned, faxed, photographed, printed and then scanned again! :D

Check your link, it's broken. You might need to log out of whatever website that is then check it.

Looks like a storage site you'd need a login for. Not too many are going to bother with that.

You don't have to log in. Click the "Free" button on the opening page - then enter the 4 letters in the box - click and the pdf opens.
