lightroom web and yahoo site builder

is there a way to make a gallery with lightroom and then place it on yahoo site builder? i really like the way it looks with lightroom as opposed to just copying thumbnails on yahoo site builder.. thanks

Generating a gallery is pretty simple and straight forward (as you've probably found)

I've got no knowledge of "Yahoo Site Builder" - but if you are abe to simply FTP the files to your site then LR can handle that with ease as well.

Are you looking to utilise a HTML or Flash for your site?

Just looked at the Yahoo site. "Yahoo Site Builder" simply generates web content based on templates. Where the difference to LR lies is that Yahoo creates a "web environment" providing the ability to "link" pages by using menus etc.

Lightroom cannot do this. All LR can do is generate a gallery based on a selection of images. So unless you have direct access to the Yahoo generated code, you wont be able to link to your images from (say) your home page.

Do you already have web-space? On their site, Yahoo states (in a side box on the right of the screen)...

How to Publish Your Site
To put your site on the Internet, you'll need a Yahoo! Web Hosting or Merchant Solutions plan. so once Yahoo Site Builder has generated your web pages, you are going to need a hosting plan anyway.

The only option, as I see it, is to see if you can design your Home page and menu's in Yahoo Site Builder, placing the links to not-yet-generated content (or put a link in to a "very simple" index.html page that you can then replace), then create your galleries in LR and upload them to the specified folder on the server.

The uploading of your LR galleries to the server will depend on the access you have in your Web Hosting plan.
