Hi - I took these two photos of friends of mine at a wedding a few weeks ago, and really need a hand with processing them. I reckon I need to use levels and I also need to do something to remove the "flash spot" on ther forehead in both (blur tool? or dodge/burn maybe?). And yes, he has naturally bad skin.

First one:

Second one:
I would either crop it portrait orientation or clone out the flash spot on the window behind for starters.

#1 - levels - or auto levels, then healing brush for hot spot on forehead.
#2 - crop or patch tool.

Do you want to know how, or do you want someone to do it? If you want someone to do it you're better off posting links to the high res high quality files on a web server somewhere.

Also if you want someone to do it for you and repost the results you need to change your profile to allow image editing.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

A-ha. Wasn't aware of the profile setting. OK changed now.

Ultimately, I'd like to edit the pics, but I'd also really appreciate it if people would show me what they can do :)

I'll provide a link to the full-res images later tonight.

Something like this?

I selected the red facial features and did a hue and saturation adjustment. Adjusted contrast and removed flash with the patch tool. Cleaned up bags under eyes and added a bit of USM and noise reduction.

The backgrounds are basically useless, so why not chuck them?

Here's my crack at the first one. Try the second one yourself!

This is fun...well this is my couple mins in PS. Duplicated some layers to adjust curves in skin tones. To further even out your friend's skintone, I added a couple blend layers and painted in some lighter skin tones.
