I was having difficulty finding a copy so I contacted Canon Customer Service here in the UK, explaining my situation and that I wanted it as a reference while I built my lens collection. Very generously they sent me a complementary copy (ninth edition).

I got mine free with a subscption to EOS Magazine. Looks like the web site is an updated version of the hard copy I have. Strange they are both version III. Wonder when they bring a new hard copy out including this year's new lenses. Maybe we'll have to wait for the Mk IV until a Mk IV camera is out.

Yeah i got my Lens Work III from Jessops in the UK. I walked by and saw they had one in the window and i asked and they said it was their only copy they had received. I paid £3 for it. I have been back since and they said they have never received any more copies. They also managed to find a slightly damaged copy of Lens Work II up in the stock room which they sold me for £1. I need a copy of Lens Work I now, no luck finding it so far!

Since Lens Work III has been out for a long time, through different editions, I'm interested to know what is in Lens Work II. When was it published? Is it just an earlier selection of EF lenses, or does it go back to FD?

I havn't got time now, but when i get home later on i shall have a quick flick through and remind myself of the differences between it and lens work III.

Is there any parts that you want to see? I can photocopy some pages and post them if you like?

I discovered that the original Lens Work came out in three editions in the eighties, and all were about the FD range. I did find a link to a scan of most of the pages, but didn't keep it so can't post it here. It was interesting though. I guess that as the last edition was 1986 and the EOS range was introduced the following year, then Lens Work II must be all about the early EOS range.
