PS or LR question

Here is what I am trying to do and hope someone can show me the way. I have about 300 photos from a wedding. They have all been run through LR and saved a 300ppi jpgs. I want to record a action that will open each one of these up and reduce the size to say 100ppi resolution and 600pixels wide on the longest size, apply a small amount of sharpening and then save for web under a new file name, then open up the next photo and do the same to it. until all pics in the folder have been resized.

I know how to record a action and did but the problem I run into is it attempts to open the same photo each time and does not go to the next pic automatically.

Can this be done or should I just open them all in LR again and resave them at a lower resolution?

OH, reason I want to do this is to make a online gallery for them to view and see if they want to order any pics. Anyother suggestions are appreciated also on accomplishing this.

If you have CS2 use the Image processor under File > Scripts > Image Processor. Choose the folder where your pics are located, choose the destination folder and choose your action to run. Set the constraint size to 600 pixels for each side in case you have portrait and landscape shots. BTW ppi means absolutely nothing unless you are printing so don't worry about that part.
