Nice set. I actually prefer overcast skies. Much softer lighting to work with. Like a giant softbox.

Naturally it'd take a bit of tweaking in post to up the contrast/saturation but one doesn't need to worry about harsh shadows. :)

Thanks!

But the sky was so gray, it made me not like any shot with the skyline in it :[haha

Congrats to you, Phillip! Great photo as well, very creative!

My own mini-me has been absolutely amazing. What a wonderful state of existence, being a father. :)

Thanks! This will be our first. she has about 7.5 weeks left, but then again, he could decide to make his debut at any time. I myself was 6 weeks early :-)

Ah, the memories... BTW, if you think everyone was joking about getting in all your sleep NOW... they're not. You can kiss your sleep goodbye for the next 2-3 months at the very least (and maybe for the next 18 years). So better front load as much sleep as you can.

From my own experience, whatever anyone had said about how much work it is to be a parent... take it and multiply it by 100.

But most of all, whenever you hold him in your arms... you will feel a Love that is absolutely indescribable. Might sound silly or hokey right now. But you'll know what I mean soon enough. :) So excited/happy for you two.

@PWard - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I, for one, don't know the stress of being a father because I am still only 23 yrs old. But after working on a maternity ward as an RN, I definitely understand how joyous it must feel to be a father.

Julian is definitely right about the 2-3 months part. Get your sleep while you can. Your baby will not have a set routine, and night time feeding continues - they will feed 8 times or more per day (usually every 3 hours/min) - thank god that's not on your end (unless you are bottle feeding), and have 4-6 wet diapers and 3-4 loose, yellow or green stools. Enjoy fatherhood! :D

well the wife only gets 6 weeks maternity leave, so after that it's off to the daycare at $185 a week (that's actually cheap considering some of the others are $250+ per week).

I don't sleep much, so I may be more geared towards it than I think. I'm usually in bed by 1am, and wake up around 6am...and usually throughout the night I'll wake up if my wife tosses and turns or moves around.

in any case, I've heard all of the warnings and have been trying to best prepare myself lol. Just finished painting his room...now just have to put all of the furniture together
