Okay... and now I'm actually considering buying this somewhat expensive piece of glass (to replace my Sigma 50mm F1.4), just to get that dreamy look you get wide open.

Have I gone insane?


A good photographer can take extraordinary photos anywhere, with any camera and any lens while a mediocre one will take mediocre ones everywhere, with every camera and every lens.
Never limit yourself with what others think you should do. Shoot what you find interesting, exactly the way you want to.

couple of boring shots but messing around with shooting wide open. also going a different route in post processing! the more i use this lens, the more it makes me smile.
