:D Yeah, he's really happy with it.

I didn't know payphones were still in existence. I figured I'd photograph one as they're an endangered species.

I can't remember if it was somewhere here in VA, or maybe it was in Maryland, but there is a slew of fire hydrants painted up to look like various animals...

I'm headed back to Maryland first week of July, I'll keep an eye out and possibly add to your collection :-)

how are you liking them? I debated between those, the PW TT5s, and Phottix Odins. I eventually went with the Phottix Odins.

Well, so far so good, no mis-fires and super easy to set up. I figured for $180 for the 1transceiver 2 receiver kit if I didn't like them I could just send them back to Amazon....But, I like them! I set them up with my el cheapo Cowboy studio clamps and stands and umbrellas and there were no issues.

Hydrant series lol

One of these days, I hope to catch a dog doing its deed on a hydrant (spontaneously of course, not posed or setup).

but then the question is....do you use a fast shutter speed to stop the action....or a slow shutter speed to smooth the stream?

Very good question indeed. Since I'm just an Av-mode shooter usually, I'll leave it up to mother nature on what light she'll give me and let the camera pick the shutter speed.
