What strikes me about a lot of "street" photography in this era is the ubiquity of people looking at their cell phones. Personally I find this sort of subject about as boring as possible without an intervening context to give significance to an otherwise utterly mundane activity. It's as though we are photographing people who aren't present where they are, which may seem to have an existentialist allure but in practice is usually just dull.

This isn't meant as a critique of triton3k's shots in particular, but just a general observation about street subjects.
