Yeah, I know. I'm wondering if there's a flash unit that is less conspicuous than the speedlites for fill flash. I'd like to use a flash just for fill light, but without a giant tower looming over my camera. Any ideas or products anyone knows of?

Sorry, can't help.
Since I use my 5D predominantly in 'movie' mode, I've little use for a flash.

Is that the firmware hack that makes use of the highly prized "Print" button?;)

Rather small, and rather weak. Hardly enough power for outdoor fill, unless you're real close.

The Sunpak PZ40X II is a low-profile unit with decent power and a reasonable price.

Thanks for the replies. Even that sunpak one is a bit big. The 220ex seems like the way to go. I wasn't planning on using it for long distance or wide range shots, just indoors when theres just too much shadow in the eyes or on the face, something to just fill it up with.
