So does the headrest on the MINI hold it solid enough?
I've also seen rigs with 2 bars one in front and one behind the headrest bars and then they bolt together. We have a MINI and are driving it to GA in June and I'd like to get it setup like that...
I have a rig for my WRX already which was a lot harder because it has seats with built in headrests...
Sorry guys I've been reading but with work being so busy I haven't had much time for forums or photography
I think I have some camera phone photos (poor photo quality, but better than the words I can use to descrobe details) of the mount.
The MINI head rest holds it decently solid, however I'm in the midwest and thatr means we get snow and potholes and prepetual construction, the MINI happens to be an S so it has a decently stiff suspension as well. In my first and only time out with the mount all setup I took a total sum 235 photos, never looking through the veiwfinder nor paying close attention to settings, so at the end of it there were a handful of photos I like and one I felt was worth posting. Some where too blury, some the focus was off some the car was stable and the exterior was bouncing
jacobsen I really like that shot with the WRX. I was thinking of compiling a simiar image using my current mount framed around just the center speedometer at startupa dn various speeds however I'm unfamilar with the animation aspect of things.
Here is another MINI mount that may work with other cars, that someone on a MINI board came up with.

He has had some wonderful photos with it. And I highly recommend NAM for any MINI owner.
