I shot my first concert last night and would like to get some feedback. I did it for fun and to test out my new lenses and camera. I couldn’t use a flash so I was shooting on higher ISO’s, couldn’t really get on stage with the band but let me know what you think of the pics.

Thanks,

Michael

I would like bigger images and numbers as well as a less obtrusive watermark (maybe make it 75% opacity or use a gray text color.) Other than that, a tough gig well done.

Agree with the above comments.
I like #4, 5 and 8.

Gee, trips all over the world in the last two years[Paris, Dubai, Jordan, UK, etc]and some serious gear.

You must have inherited a trust fund!!!

So what do you do or does your photogging really fund all that?

p.s. stunning, clear, perfectly exposed pics. looks like you had really good lighting and three grand plus bodies help :)

Thanks everyone for the comments. It was a fun night. I will reduce my watermark on the next round.

Great job for your first show. Maybe lose the watermark though? It's a bit big. Maybe make it 10-12pt in the bottom left or right hand corner?

GREAT job for your first show.

Also, AWESOME selection - the photos you chose to post here are all different, the variety is nice and refreshing! We don't always see that here.... You deserve a good pat on the back for that! :-)

#1: Good composition, good feel to the photo. Maybe some cropping to get rid of the guy to the left?

#2: While I like the DoF here, it would also be a good shot if the guys farther away were the ones in focus. I am unsure about how I feel about the guy's back to me as the in-focus subject of the photo. Still good, though.

#3 & #4: Really cool compositions. Good color, nice shots.

#5: I wish the guy in the red shirt was the one in focus here. Is this band signed to Rocafella? Why is the audience throwing up the ROC?

#6: Nice.

#7: Nice also. Maybe some cropping here, so the guy's not in the middle. I like the light on the right and I like the space to the left, but maybe choose one? The classic Rule of Thirds would help this photo.

Nice job. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and I don't mind the watermark, but maybe I'm just trained to ignore them? It's a good font - readable but not just another Times New Roman, etc. :-)

NIce set. :) If that's your first concert, I am just wondering what the next one will look like. :) Really clear shots for the most part.
