Took a drive through a bit of Montana's rougher countryside today. Here's a few captures. It certainly wasn't ideal shooting conditions with the snow and bright sunlight, so these are really the best of the bunch.

Seem like good photos despite the harsh lighting, the bottom left corner of the last picture is a little distracting though.

I will agree that the harsh lighting is a killer in these photographs, and the overall blue casts do not appeal to me. I think your strongest composition would probably be the second one, but you have to wait for the right light.
