I think the title speaks for itself, and is backed up by these images:

1) "It's a tough life"

2) "No, that's my.... rock!"
IMAGE: http://www.bradgoldring.com/temp_host/POTN/peng2.jpg

3) "YAY!"

4) Nosedive.

5) "No, I'm getting out first" This was as they were fighting to get up the ramp to get out of the water.

9) This one was just too funny not to include, 3 ducks who don't care, and a penguin falling into the water checking out his reflection :P

Thanks, I work with what I can get! And Zoos are the most cost effective photography experience. I typically try to make sure they photos don't look "Zoo-y", but when there's a penguin, and Canadian duck, and a great blue heron in the same frame, it's pretty hard :)

EDIT: And, ya the wing tags sure don't make them look any more wild!

Nice shots! I don't think there's anything wrong with zoo photography at all. As much as I would love to have all this rich wildlife right outside my window, I don't so I also take advantage of what I can when I can. :) I agree, zoo photography can be challenging and it does give you a change to get some more practice in.

My picture was of an African Penguin, a warm climate penguin.
