I have my favorite, but I'm curious what you opinions are. Which version of this picture do you like better? What would you have done to improve the shot in general?

I like the first better. The girls hair ribbon is too strong, it takes the eye away from the boys intense look. The first one also looks a bit too red.

#1. Selective coloring of the hair ribbon distracts and doesn't attract attention since it is not part of the focal features of your subject.

i like #2 better. It's verry soft and charming. seems to go better with the feeling of the shot i think.

i think this is a personal preference thing. i agree the band on the first one is too dominant.

Can we see the original? These look very grainy to me. Personally I think the color on the first is too saturated and on the second it's too washed out.
I love the way the girl is looking so adoringly at her little brother. Very sweet.
