Went along to the practice day yesterday, glorious sunshine all day so lots of photo opportunities. Here's a few:

Local hero Greg Murphy taking a victim for a hot lap - sadly you can't tell if they were smiling or screaming.

Very minimal ground clearance - not sure if they just lower it until it rubs and leave it there?

and from the "before and after" series:

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Looks like the formula 1 car side skirts of a few decades ago.

Did he go to the Andy Anderson School of Driving?

Hope you got a few pictures of Paul Honiss' brother !!!

Very low indeed, was that at the turn in of the fast left hander? would the body roll would explain it looking that low.

thanks, yes they're doing something like 180 - 190Km/hr around that sweeper. Having said that, none of the rest of the field were that low so suspect they either got the ride height wrong, or didn't quite get the spring rate sorted.
Holden made Monaro's (coupe) until recently, but the V8 series is for 4 door Fords & Holdens only.
