Taking a Break

This one required a fair bit of work to bring out the detail in the shadows - Have I overdone it?

Looks pretty good....I think you might have overdone it a little bit....something just doesnt look right.....but I vant put my hand on it

I like the image and don't think its overdone.

However, the one thing which detracts for me are the white marks on the side of the face? Other than that I think you have made a good job of it.

I agree with Meerkat17. Nice shot otherwise.

You've got some blown out areas, and very little that's still dark shadow. I can imagine that this looked much worse originally. Nothing looks overdone, and it looks quite natural to me. Good job.
