Hello,

I'm wondering if it would be possible to fit a canon 1D focusing screen (such as : http://www.bhphotovideo.com …tails&Q=&sku=12607&is=REG (external link) ) on a canon D60 ?
Or are there other alternatves ?

Thanks for your inputs,

MikeG

The D60 screens are not replaceable (not by the USER anyway) and they do not make alternatives for it.

Only the 1D and 3D series have changeable focus screens.

Which is very annoying as I am of the opinion that the focusing screens mounted on the D60 and 10D (and probably the rebel) are next to useless for tight focusing. Or at least with my eyes. I would prefer the half moon myself (meaning split screen).

Someday when I can afford the 1Ds (or follow-on) I will be able to manually focus with some accuracy, without using the Angle Finder C's magnification.
