well as the tital said 300f4 sorry guys nikon. i won from ebay a nikon to canon adapter so i could borrow my neighbours lens to give it a wirl .
i was very happy with the results manual only at f4 f/f . so if this IQ is any thing to go by then i think a prime is on the mind again.

back to the bigma. longtail tit still getting bedding or cleaning.

last one and a first for me:D i think its a female linnet ? this was on the local common i had to creep through the brambles getting closer each shot .
i could'nt get realy close so ive cropped it with more space to keep some iq.

Beautiful shots.

The starling shot is amazing. But the longtail tit is too. I love those little guys.

Nicely done. The detail in the Starling shot is excellent, I have not managed to get that detail from a Starling shot yet and the little chap in shot two is adorable.

Beautifully captured images with great details and color on both the startling and tit. Very well done indeed JP.

I really like the long tailed tit and yes, no. 3 is a female linnet.

Re: no. 1 - I'm not sure I'm seeing what you're seeing there, Jason.

I really don't see anything in the IQ that isn't achievable (and then some) from a decent zoom - I bet you pounds to pennies that your Sigma would have given you at least this IQ if it had been on the camera at the time.

I actually think that the long tailed tit has the best IQ of these three, by some margin.
