I was getting ready to leave when some other people spooked these geese and they were flying straight towards me and very low. I raised the camera and got these shots with the 400..had to use some fill flash as they were dark against the sky. Didn't have time to change the settings. :cry:

How long have you used the Osprey as your Avatar?

Maybe a month or two? Yes they are too dark, in the originals the sky is glaring white so I had to tone that down.

Honestly it was just luck..surprised they were in focus! I did get some pieces of wings also as they went past me. The 400 was too big.

The first thing that came to my mind was "The Spruce Goose". Now I know why they named it that. Amazing similarity in wing shape.
