shot these this evening just before sunset with the Kenko pro 300 2x on a sig 70-200 , unfortunatly hand held at about 70 yards...cropped heavily but still like what I was able to capture...would have been a bust without the TC..CC and comments welcome!

The first shot is beautifully exposed, although a little soft, but I really like the second shot. It has nice framing and reflection.

Thanks folks...I'd have been one happy camper if I'd been 25 yards closer or had a tripod already mounted when I saw this fellow drop into the pond...I had my granddaughter out on an animal/bird spotting run..when I saw the GBH heading toward the culvert I could literally feel the goose bumps ...I was desperate for a shot with him totally inside the round of the culvert but due to his darting for fish on his way past he came up where I got him...it is a pretty high res photo and thank goodness the unreduced version is remarkably better than this 99 KB version...I'm prteey sure this fellow is a regular at this pond so I'm gonna camp out there in the brush about 20 yards from this spot, tomorrow AM and evening...
