Firstly, I give thanks to those of you who have commented on my previous posts. Your comments have encouraged me to continue down the path of bird photography.

Secondly, I give thanks to all of you who post here as it's wonderful to see the variety of birds from all over the world; and to learn from those who are "experts" at this genre.

Thirdly, I shall shut up and post.

All of these were taken today at our Torrens River which runs through the centre of Adelaide in South Australia. They were all taken with the Bigma, hand-held and processed in photoshop.

Sorry I've not commented before, have been a bit busy of late and not had the time I'd like to spend on the forums. Great to see some more Adelaide folks about and even better to see them shooting birds (my fav thing). Nice series of images, like the 2nd woodie, sharp image and the first gull is pretty darn good as well.

I also like to see your using the Bigma and handheld at that, great job ! Many folks here use the Bigma (I love it myself) though not all handheld.
