now there's something you don't see every day ( at least we don't!)
I really like the "head on" shot, well done.
And welcome aboard!

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Nice shots....were these taken recently or a couple of years ago?

The reason I ask is because John Travolta has is own 707 and a couple of years ago, he did a promotional tour of Australia on behalf of Qantas, and Qantas repainted his plane in old colours/style and he flew it around the country with his family.

i dont think his jet was ever painted that livery though right? it was Jet Clipper Ella scheme then painted to the current qantas/vjet/chrome scheme?

Hi chrysalis
These were take on the 5th of April this year. This plane was rebuilt in the UK and now will do promo tours around Australia. It is the first 707 Qantas owned.

Some Great pics of a great plane on a beautiful day. I sure would have loved to have seen it. Smokey old 707s are a 4 engine favorite of mine 747s after that. Thanks for sharing :)
