Seems like they are following in their deal they had last week on the A80.
The A60 is a fine performer and make a great camera for kids or someone who does not need to print too large. Fine for prints 4X5 and 5X7.

I took this one with my uncle's A60:

Here's the Deal:

In-store only according to the rebate, order online with coupon for in-store pickup. OfficeDepot has the Canon PowerShot A60 2MP Digital Camera w/ 3x Optical Zoom for $199 - $20 off $100 coupon code 54725712 [Exp 4/30] - $100 rebate [Exp 5/1] = $79.

Rebate Form: http://rebates.teg-online.com …_Print.asp?Item_Key=91858 (external link)

At this rate, they'll be sold out by tomorrow morning!

Enjoy,

Oops  I didn't see the part of the laptop purchase. They had a deal last week where you could get an A80 for $190 and I took advantage of that, so I was thinking along the same lines for this one. Sorry folks, the deal is not as great as it seemed to be at first glance.

I ordered an A80 for my sister from their (OD) website last week while they had the major stackable coupon deal going. The camera was on backorder as they had already sold out. There was a rumor that OD was not honoring backorders and manually cancelling the orders as people called in to find out ETA on delivery.

The camera I ordered arrived minutes ago. Only $191 with tax for an A80!!!!!!!!
