I don't know how many of you grew up watching the cartoon series from the 80's, but it was one of my favorite cartoon series of all time. And the upcoming movie looks like a real winner. Doesn't hurt that Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay are the driving force behind this... ;)

I'm excited as well because my older sons loved that series and I think we got every Transformer, including the huge ones somewhere in the house. Should be very good in the theaters because every little and big boy from Hawaii to Maine will want to see it.

Im looking forward to it as well. I saw a preview for it in December and it looks awesome. The special FX look amazing!

Loved the cartoon. My younger bro even broke out a tear watching the first Transformers movie where Optimus Prime kicked the bucket. Can't wait to see the new one. If the pictures above are any indication, I'd say it's using a similar movie effect from "300".... dark and almost shot in B&W.
