Finally a 100-400 duck

Had it since January and use it all the time but finally got a few ducks. These are both crops as they were a little far away.

Are all 3 crops, if so how much ? I was thinking of getting this lens, but it looks very soft, your exif says they are not shot wide open, I would be interested in seeing the uncroped shots.
