Few From The Wetlands Today.

Lot's of activity at the Viera Wetlands today. I even came across a nice sized alligator snapping turtle. Man, did I make him mad. They are very fast and aggressive!! To Cool!!

Saw her in two different places Reyno. So close to the bank on the long road leading back to the entrance. Tried to get a really close up shot, but it spooked and flew off. With your abilty to catch them you would of been the man to get the inflight shot of this one Reyno. It flew low level across the water to another area.

Then as I was going around again, out of the blue it flew right to where I was standing shooting a GBH. It tried to act as if I did not see it fly into this area. I waited and she started to move around. Very cool bird, just a little skiddish.

Fantastic pictures!
The birds are:
1) White faced Ibis, and a Snowy Egret (the white one)
2)Bald Eagle
3) Red winged Blackbird
4)Least Bittern
5) Juvenile and adult White Ibis (adult is the top right one)
