I am still having some issues in Vista with CS2, and now I hear that Adobe is not going to issues a fix like they did for PSE5. I find this upsetting due to the price paid for CS2.

Anybody heard anything different??

I assume that CS3 will be completely compatible with Vista??

I have had cases where brushes seemed to move slow and hard to control, but next time it will be fine.

The only issue I am having now it on the print with preview page, under printer profiles where you would pick your printer / paper combo profile they do not show up, and I can't find them.

But if I go into printer they are there

I've been having issues as well. VERY irritating. Some of my actions are having trouble, my directories mainly are having problems, and adobe bridge is ALSO giving me trouble. I've been working around it but it's getting annoying.

Do you know how I can get profiles to show up in the drop down menu. the menu you get with you click on printer profiles in print with preview??

I am even more upset that Adobe will not support. I only bought CS2 in Oct. I read they are providing fixes for PSE5 but not CS2 as CS3 in out.

Seems like they should offer discount beyond the upgrade for those that have to upgrade due to Vista.

You profiles should be here in Vista:

C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

If they are not, they will not show up in CS.

Only issue I seem to have is with the smudge tool. It makes the system crash, for some reason, if I go beyond a certain amount of brush strokes. Annoying, but then again, I don't use it that much...so, I just stay away.

Everything else with CS2 and Vista works well...no issues thusfar.

I haven't had a single issue with Vista Ultimate, CS2, Bridge, and Lightroom. It's been flawless for me. :)

I have under a gig of RAM so running CS2 and Bridge on Vista is like watching paint slowly dry. It will take sometimes up to 3 minutes to open them both up. I simply don't have the resources so I am going to dump Vista and put XP back on.

Really 1GB isn't cutting it, even with XP, for doing photo and processing work. I'm running 2GB and it's a dream. I'm more than satisfied with the entire setup. :)

How was everything installed? Was it an XP install with CS2 loaded then upgraded to Vista, or a clean from scratch install.

I did an 'upgrade in place' with Vista and was having a lot of issues not just with PS, a clean install of everything from ground up seems to have worked fine.
