we get these flies where I live thought I would post a shot.

Looks like what we call in the UK a greenbottle fly- can be various shades of gree/blue metallic colour- lovely capture.

Nice shot, up in New Hampshire we had flies that had that metallic color of green or blue. They were always near the trash/dumpsters. Their color is great, but their company is not ;-)a
