Hello,

My cousin found some site that can blow up a picture to make a wallpaper but I read it and it is actually just a very large canvas print. They want like 200$ for a 6 x 4' h print on this canvas. She wants to use one of my pictures for this print so I figured since its just a print there are probably cheaper ways to get it printed than through this site.

So my question is, where can I get a nice canvas print around that size?

Here's two that I found:

http://www.superchrome.co.uk/canvas_photo_printing.htm (external link) 40 x 60 inch for 85 pounds but they will ship to the US

http://www.bigdigitalprints.com/canvas.html (external link) $225.00 for 40 x 60 inch prints on canvas

I just got a fine art gallery wrap from WHCC, It's 20" X 30" and is stretched over a 2 1/2" frame. That was $200.

I think $200 for a 6' X 4' is a pretty dang good deal if it's printed halfway dencent.

I print my own 24 x 36 on canvas from a HP 130 printer and it costs me about $25 Au or $20 US per print .

Check out a local sign shop they may have a press that can print on artistic canvas. We used to have one localy who was very reasonable with this.

Hi Gang, I have done several canvas prints and that price stretched is pretty good especially for that size.

Some things you need to know tho...
1. Watch out for the brand and type of canvas you are purchasing, not all have the same properties.
2. make sure that thye have sealed the entire print with at least 3 coats of sealant to protect it from UV and water damage.
3. Ask if the stretcher bars are custom or stock,

I use PremierArt Fine Art Canvas (Matte) 24" x 40' (roll) in my W6400 and the prints are nothing short of fantastic, I buy from ITsupplies.com.

I hope this helps.com
