Compusa is now out of Omaha. Now where do I get my Epson printers an ink. The other places dont carry the ink for a 2200. An the ones that used too say they are going to quit because Epson is to hard to deal with and their shipments are too slow. Is compusa going under every place?

CompUSA died in my home town a while ago. They were just not competitive. With OfficeMax, Office Depot, TigerDirect and others driving the price down, the were the casualty. Look on the web, you’ll find many places with much better prices anyway.

I know I can order online but when you need ink at 7pm. The store is 45min away an the job is due the next day online does not work. Plus I just hate to buy anything online.

Solution. Order an extra set of cartridges. When you open and put that set in it is time to place another order. I always have a set of ink waiting.

CompUSA is closing all its stores in South Los Angeles - Orange County area.
I also buy my ink online and have an extra for each color.
I use www.atlex.com (external link) - good prices and good service.

I buy my Epson ink online at Costco. Get it in a day or two max and no shipping charges. Lowest prices I've found. We've lost our Comp USA's in Denver too.

i dont know about the other stores in the US but the one in Mass was prob the worst computer to go to. Big huge store with only one cashier and 3-4 sales person for the whole store  I also went to their closing sale they had a Epson r1800 for $650 open box, i wonder why this store closed.

Somehow I just can't feel sorry for them. Quite the contrary, in fact.
