One from the weekend. Up at sunrise to catch this little fella!

Canon 500f/4L with 1.4x on tripod, f/8 @ 1/320, ISO 400, +1/3EC

Yeah with the emphasis on 'little' - hence the need for BIG lenses and lots of crawling through nettles and the such like, and yep another pair of pants ruined this weekend :D

Excellent Paul!

A bird I've never seen, much less photographed. I'd half hoped I would run into one on a recent break in Norfolk (they're occasionally reported on the heathland near to where I was staying) but no joy.

absolutley bloomin marvlous paul. one ive yet to see but in years gone by they have bean reports of them being on the common in suffolk but not yet.
