I have never seen a pair of goldfinches behaving like this before . Well maybe it has to do with the fact I have only been bird watching for a couple of years so far. Has anyone else seen behavior like this before ?

Great shot. I thought the first one looked like they were arguing. ...the second one looks like they made up. :)

I thought the same thing but ,I sat and watched this pair do this for about 15 minutes and then they came to the feeder to eat .

Waxwings will pass berries along in this manner. I've seen Cardinals and Chickadees do this behaviour too. Great shots clearly demonstrating it.
