Layer newbie

I admit I know NOTHING about using layers and adjustment layers.

But I think I may have ran across the perfect situation for using layer. I recently had a wedding where bride has had too much sun over the years and has some good smile lines. Anyway I know when you use the healing or spot healing some times I go too fast or too far and get a dark spot or bad result. Anyway once you click more than once you can not undo.

Would it work to use adjustment layer so if this happen I could just delete layer vs. closing image and re opening? And if so in the layer do you have more than one undo

Layers is crucial to learn and it's pretty basic. If you can get your hands on a psd file with a few layers try examining it for an hour or 2 then you'll catch the drift. If you want me to email you a psd file with a few layers shoot me an email at adaptiveod@gmail.com
