Alan, I had my tripod set up so I could sit on the end of a picnic table and shoot in comfort. The day was extremely windy and the birds had no trouble just hovering on the wind if they wanted to. After I had been there a few minutes, I started looking around. There were a number of other trees there, but not like in the woods, and these and the others in the group were whizzing through the trees and out over the water, not 5 feet off the ground. As I sat there, I could watch them at eye level. Unfortunately, they were way to fast to shoot.
