one more mockingbird

This guy fought his way through the rose-breasted grosbeaks to the feeders, another sign that spring is a time to feed birds. Mockingbirds hardly ever feed from suet or sunflower feeders, but it's not that uncommon in the spring when insects aren't as plentiful as usual due to the late freeze we had.

I like both these, but the first one more even though he is turned away. Just like that close-up.

Funny thing is he waited until I got into the window with the camera to make that little deposit on the railing. I thought about cloning it out, but what the heck... It's as natural as the bird itself, right? Ballast...

I saw mockingbirds in cuba last year I think they were the same bird but I did not get a shot as good as these

Very nice shots. My eye goes to the second shot as my favorite.

I like them both. Maybe the first one a little more cause it's closer, and I'm not bothered by cut off legs and tails.
