Hi all, I do not see a thread like this one, so I thought I would start one.

I am no pro when it comes to shooting indoors. I have read through quite a few posts that talk about shooting indoors with no flash, and I am curious how these look.
I am under the impression that the colors would be rather drab if light is not sufficient. I am not referring to underexposure, but rather just an exposure that looks drab. Also, can anyone link me to some info about these gels that you put on your flash. I assume this can balance out the color so that while the foreground looks``proper`` the background won`t look yellow-orange ( assuming incadescent lighting )

It might be good idea to post the lens you used as well.
Thanks ( I hope this was a good idea    )

It was Av mode shot in RAW. I did have to fix the white balance.

You can always convert to B&W if you don't like the colors :-)

Both pictures taken with my old Pentax Me camera, Pentax 50mm f1.7 lens and cheap Kodak ProFoto 400 BW film.

Best wishes,
Oleg.

LOL! I'm trying to figure out how to arrange this...think my office will mind much? Oh wait, my new lens will be here in a couple hours....does it count if you're taking the picture from the inside looking out :p
