The life-span of most shutters is less than the life-span of most threads on this forum - Except this one :-)

Don't worry about it - just take pictures, it could fail at 1 shot or 100,000 shots.

Is there a counter that lets you know how many shots were taken with a body?

Like if I were to buy a used one and the seller claims only 5k shots, how would I know for sure?
