I love these little fellas, and this one seemed to be very tame

very nice shot ive not seen many shots of them on the floor this bird might be use to humans . i normaly work with in 10-12 ft off these little guys and thats with full camo dressing.

Thanks jpalmer, he lives in Groombridge Place in Kent, a bird lovers mecca :D :D Home to the Raptor Centre. This guy hangs around the outdoor eating area picking up crumbs

He may be tame but you still thought about the shot enough to get down low. A bit of PP to lasso and boost the catchlight in the eye would have been nice but it's a nice detailed pic all the same.

Nice shot. Great detail. ;)

I don't think i've ever seen a Blue Tit on the ground!?! I've been trying to get a decent shot of one of these for a while now.... No luck here!?! :D

It's well worth it, they have 50 birds of prey and about 10 of them sit outdoors all day and you can get within two feet of them, with no fences in the way!!! You could get a close-up with a 17mm lens :D
