It may not be extreme to some BUT to me its more to the extreme. I like the look and since Im comfortable with it Id like to know what you all think.

I played with the photo level in Elements 5 on this one. I have posted the original RAW converted version along with the processed shot.

C&C sure to be

Certainly, if I can remember it all.

First and most important, 98% of the editing was done in Lightroom. And since my trial period has ended I cant open it up and re-do it, Im going off pure memory (or lack there of).

I know I adjusted the shadows and contrast, I want to say I added a lil fill light. I then lowered the vibrance and slightly lowered the brightness. The added some vignetting.

Now as for using Elements 5, I adjusted levels some more. Put on a few USM layers and then resized it for here.

Very nice. Definitely like how the focus changes drmatically from the text to the flower with the edit. Did you bring out the color by changing saturation at all?

Im thinking the contrast adjustment made the blue richer. Oh now I remember I did do selective desaturation on everything but the flower including the green in Llightroom.
