Thank you Woolbie......BTW, was I gone anywhere ?

Seems to me that I haven't seen your words in these parts in quite a while!

BTW, you'll be happy to note that I do NOT yet have a 50/1.2L (though it was impossible for me to avoid the 16-35L Mk II).

I'm gone for one afternoon and evening, watching American Idol and missed the whole thing! I was on while Maureen was dealing with the rude comments, and I expected something to happen, just had to leave. Glad it's all straightened out, and Mod's are amazing here, so on top of the problems and crazies that try to make things bad for us.

Maureen, you are a classy person, so above such things, and I am glad you see how much we need you and respect you here. I have really enjoyed our friendship and I am looking forward to meeting you in person. And it looks like many of us are watching your back, so maybe you need to see if your shirt is sticking out or something. ;):)

Peter, welcome home! Been missing you. :)

Maureen handled the situation perfectly - with professionalism and maturity.

It's always amusing to watch the trolls and trogdolytes self-immolate.

I've been slapped for saying that. Maybe I just haven't said it to the right girl yet...

I wonder how many of them went to an online dictionary to look up immolate? ;)

Surely the trolls would have had to stop by the dictionary definition of maturity first?

Maureen,

You are one of the finest POTNers we have here. It is beyound belief that someone would be abusive to you in particular or to any of us in general...I would recommend that they be sent packing ASAP and let them try and find a forum more suitable to their personallity.

And I apologize for saying that moderators are the cause of bad memory card blocks in another thread.. Thats just not true, but I'm still researching the correlation between mods and the Error 99 problem.

It is clear that the person in question was trying to provoke a fight, and he didn't get one. Instead, he got himself banned (again), and is no doubt doubly frustrated now.

There really is justice in this world.
