Its an awesome program.

depending on your ram situation, you may consider an upgrade as i find its a bit hungry sometiems.

You will love it. It has some short comings but it is still a good value in MHO.

i ordered mine at BH photo 3 weeks ago and thinking of getting the CS3 but unfortunately i still have to build another computer just for photos and im not planning to use Vista, i think i still use with XP pro for now...anybody using Vista?, please give me some info...

Let's not turn this into a Vista vs XP thread. There are plenty of those already around to do your own research.

As for the OP picking up LR, congrats. I love it. As mentioned above there are some things to iron out but even with the bugs I wouldn't get rid of it. I took some shots at a family get together last night after a funeral. I came home and began working on the pics. Sorting and ranking is awesome. I love the Survey feature for looking at multiple shots of the same subjects. Making adjustments is so quick and easy. I spend very little time in CS2 now.
