I am new at LR, so see if this makes sense.
I opened up a New Develop Preset and unchecked everything except Sharpening. Then I just clicked on the icon to "Turn Off Sharpening". I did not slide to "0". And then when I imported next time The sharpening was turned off.
Does this do the same thing. It was my understanding that if you used this icon (switch) and that section went GRAY, they you had turned it off and no sharpening would be applied??
