I once built me a small softbox for the 580EX made of cardbox and paper of some sort. This is very fragile falls off the flash all the time.
Now I wanna go "pro" and buy me a little softbox.

So anyone got any good links? Hopefulle all I need to mount it to my flash. I.E if I need some kind of adapter or what not.

Second. Found a good price on Pocket Wizards http://mpex.com …577001019&SN=0000&Q=False (external link)

Got it through www.strobist.com (external link)

On that Westcott Softbox, is it a fixed distance from the flash head or is that adjustable at all? Is the diffusion pleasing from a softbox of that size with the flash so close to the diffusion material?

How about LiteDome xs (external link) ?

You will need a connector (for Canon: AC-B222SM ).

Thanks a lot! The westcott looked a bit cheapish? Think I might end up with the Litedome.

I'm sure you can buy these from a US distributor as well.

I have read that the Westcott unit is actually very well designed. I have the Lumiquest, and it tends to droop unless you stiffen it up by somehow sealing the corners. I used staples, others have used velcro.

Keep in mind that the larger units will interfere with your flash unit's AF assist light. The peculiar shape of the Lumiquest model is designed to avoid such interferance.

Yeah, the homemade one I use now blocks the AF light. But I shoot 99% in a well lit place.
So no problem there, only problem now is cash flow.:)
