Dell refurbished monitor

I've heard refurbished product is as good as new but I still have some question regrading to Dell monitor.
I want to get a 2007 wfp. refurbished one is about $60 cheaper. If they are the same, I would like to save some $$$. I've heard there was some problem with earlier revision of 2007 wfp. Do I get a updated vesion of 2007 wfp even it was old revision when it went back to the factory?
