This partridge was actually attacking my camera at times. Canon G3 and post processing in PS Elements 3

Pretty close-ups. Twice I've had a female with chicks in the summer hiss at me and make rushes toward me, coming within a foot. Once it was while I was out with a photo excursion client. Amazing that a little fool hen can make two grown men stumble backwards with their arms pinwheeling. Makes for nice images, though, once you change your undies. :oops:

Stunning Shots Almost looks out of place I've always seen them in heavy woods or on the roadway picking gravel

Wow factor is way up there on these Reigh. That G3 serves you well. Love the first for the closeness and details and the second is very refreshing with a nice DOF showing the habitat behind the bird. Nicely done!
