Very nice shot . I am the opposite I can get the male but the female usually eludes me.

Nice shot. Looks like she just got out of the bath. And my males are shy too. But they both are now during nesting season. Much more so than during last winter.

Thanks all. Maybe next time I'll get another shot at the male. I would have loved to have got a shot at him in that same slightly overcast light.

Nice area you live in, I spent alot of my younger years in Alton, on Half Moon lake.
